Question: Does anyone happen to know where plumbing supplies can be bought online or by mail order please? I'm going to have to become a wanted criminal and fix a laundry tap myself, in the absence of an available plumber with more than half a brain. There's little hope of finding the bits I need to connect into an older system from the local small town outlets, and Google isn't helping.
Answer: -Installing taps isn't difficult or illegal. Playing with sewerage systems or gas installations without the right training is a nono. You see, those plumbers with half a brain apparently don't take kindly to comments like that. So unless you have the right tools and the knowledge of how to use them leave it to the professionals -Most hardware stores and others have plumbing supplies. Sounds like he should get an expert since he can't erven find the parts needs.
