Question: I'm just about to purchase a water heater for my new home and was wondering what the consensus is on the in line water heater type versus the normal 30 to 50 gallon tank. Any bad experiences? Is the hot water really readily available at all times? Does it heat the watter to a high temperature? Any reliability issues? Installation issues?
Answer: They work great for using one high demand fixture(washer,tub, or dishwasher) at a time. Try using two and the temp drops right off, as far as reliability issues I had only worked on one before and parts where expensive keep in mind this was a few years ago.
