Question: Sorry to post such a general question here but I know when I'm in over my head. I need a good plumber in Houston - I'm willing to pay but I want the work done right and I'd like it if they did the work without gouging me. Any recommendations? Anybody *love* their plumber? I have an old house (with old plumbing) so somebody who seen more than new construction would be appreciated.
Answer: This may n ot be helpful, except to make a smile here and there. There was a Texan with a flair for bragging. He visited New York State at one time. The New York fellow wanted to top the Texan's bragging. So, they went to see Niagra Falls. "How's that?:" the New York fellow asked. "Pretty good." the Texan replied. "But we got a plumber back in Texas that could have fixed that leak an half an hour."
