 | how do you find a good reliable plumber to service your boiler? |

Question: The plumber/engineer I used to use for plumbing work and boiler servicing etc... has now retired. For the life of me I am struggling to find someone to service my boiler. Most of the plumbers I have called dont return calls or are simply too busy. Its crazy. I live in Staines, Surrey.. does anyone know of a good honest engineer who would service my standard conventional gas central heating boiler?
Answer: -Living in a small Scottish village there is a demand for quality workmen and it is very hard as they are over worked. People here tend to pick somebody on word of mouth. When we finally found one to do our Oil boiler we had been driving around several villages to look for vans. The one we found turned out to be brilliant. We actually knocked the house door and asked them about the work he had done for them. -Have you tried using the Gas Board's maintaimance unit.I use Shell for the maintaince of my oil boiler and although they are probably more expensive they are very good.
