Answer: -I agree with you except - we just bought a condo that is about 10 years old. All faucets are Kholer. The bath tub faucet dripped and it took us 2 months to get the correct parts to fix it. We found out that a generic does not work. We had to go to a major plumbing place and try various parts. Kholer even sent us free parts - but the wrong ones. I guess my advice is when you see trouble beginning, start your part hunt right away. -Have always found Delta to be a good tap but like all it needs to be maintained,as doe's Kohler. If you have a promblem Delta will send the parts or get them at your local dealer. That said almost all parts or pieces of all we get in North America are made out of Country as that is free trade and cheap prices for the Manifacture and huge profit margins.
