There are indeed a number of propane tankless water heaters on the market, but I've only found one that is direct vent, i.e sealed combustion for sale in the U.S. If somebody knows otherwise I'd really like to know. They're a new generation Heatmaker (Teledyne bought them out). I think they make it in a just domestic hot water as opposed to heat, or heat and hot water.
