Question: Is the Rinnai Continuum the only direct vent (sealed-combustion) tankless water heater available in the U.S.?
Answer: -No. Just use a Google search for more than you want. Even HoDep has them. Jim "Stuart Blood" wrote in message news:am7gqo$2g3$1@merrimack.Dartmouth.ED -There are electric ventless tankless water heaters also that turn on when the cold water flows through and shuts off when the flow stops. -I've actually spent some hours doing Google searches before making this posting. There are indeed a number of propane tankless water heaters on the market, but I've only found one that is direct vent, i.e sealed combustion for sale in the U.S. If somebody knows otherwise I'd really like to know. I'd also like to know what experience, good or bad, that people have had with the Rinnai Continuum. -Teledyne Laars makes the Endurance. We've installed a couple of them. They're a new generation Heatmaker (Teledyne bought them out). I think they make it in a just domestic hot water as opposed to heat, or heat and hot water.
