Question: I have been looking high and low for any sites that review Electric tank water heaters. I have done a google groups search and regular google and the most I found was one site (epinions.com) that only listed a few models and no good information. Do any such sites exsist, I would be surprised if they didn't since it seems like every other thing I have ever purchased has multiple sites giving reviews of stuff. I am mainly looking for comparisions of reliability and engergy usage between models. Any help would be appreciated since I plan on purchasing a new one on friday.
Answer: Electric water heaters all work through resistive heating elements. The efficiency of which has not changed since the day they were invented. No one water heater costs more or less to operate than another. And they all have to meet the same Federal energy guidelines which pretty much means the only differences you should concern yourself with are warranty period, and color.
